01
Pricing and Getting Started
How much does it cost?
WebAct keeps pricing organized by service type. The pricing section separates design, advertising, marketing, and widgets so customers can compare the right path before requesting a proposal. For a more exact quote, WebAct can review the pages, content, advertising channels, widgets, integrations, and launch support needed.
Do I need a quote before I can start?
Some products and widgets can be purchased directly, while larger website, advertising, branding, or marketing projects usually need a short conversation first. That helps WebAct match the service, timeline, and budget to the actual business goal.
What information should I have ready?
For websites, it helps to have your business name, logo, domain, services, service areas, images, login access for connected tools, and examples of sites you like. For ads or marketing, bring campaign goals, target locations, monthly budget range, and any current tracking or account access.
Can WebAct help if I already have a website?
Yes. WebAct can redesign an existing website, rebuild it on the WebAct platform, help with a start-with-URL flow, update branding, improve SEO structure, add widgets, connect domains, or support advertising landing pages.
How are design projects paid?
Smaller quoted projects may be paid in full before work begins. Larger quoted design projects commonly use a deposit and final payment structure. Confirm the exact payment terms on your quote, proposal, or invoice before starting.
When does work begin?
Work generally begins after the quote is accepted and payment requirements are met. First drafts are handled according to the timeline stated in the project scope, proposal, or project communication.
02
Website Design and Editors
Are WebAct websites responsive?
Yes. WebAct websites are built to work across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences. The platform can handle device-specific presentation so visitors get a practical experience on the screen they are using.
What platform does WebAct use to build websites?
WebAct uses the Duda platform and adds its own custom widgets, support, domain services, email services, and marketing support around it. That gives customers a managed website system instead of only a standalone design file.
What is the difference between the Simple Editor and Professional Editor?
The Simple Editor is built for easier owner-friendly editing and quick business setup. The Professional Editor gives more advanced control, template selection, and a broader builder experience for teams that want deeper customization.
Can WebAct design the website for me?
Yes. WebAct can handle website design, copy structure, page layouts, mobile presentation, calls to action, portfolio proof, launch support, and the connected pieces such as domains, forms, widgets, and marketing pages.
Can I update the website myself after launch?
Yes. WebAct websites are built with an editor so customers can manage common content updates. WebAct can also provide support, knowledge base resources, and additional help when a change is more complex.
Can I take my website with me if I cancel?
A website may be exportable or transferable depending on the platform and account setup, but leaving the WebAct platform can mean losing managed platform benefits such as the content management system, device editing, SSL, analytics, widgets, integrations, automatic updates, backups, and cloud hosting.
Does WebAct build on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or Squarespace?
WebAct primarily builds on its managed website builder platform and connected tools. If you are on another platform, WebAct can review your current site and recommend the best migration, redesign, or support path.
Do WebAct websites require hosting?
Yes. Websites built on WebAct's managed website builder platform require an active hosting subscription so the site can remain live, secure, editable, and supported.
Is there FTP access?
No. The platform is a cloud website builder, so files and content are managed through the website editor rather than FTP access.
03
SEO, Local SEO, Email Marketing, AEO, GMB, and Local Listings
Will having a website with WebAct make me first on search engines?
No honest agency can guarantee first-place rankings from a website alone. WebAct follows best practices such as page structure, metadata, SSL, sitemap indexing, performance, and content organization, but rankings also depend on competition, domain history, content quality, authority, reviews, local signals, and ongoing SEO work.
What is the best way to improve rankings?
A strong website helps, but ongoing SEO is the stronger path. WebAct can support targeted content, technical cleanup, local signals, Google Business Profile work, listings consistency, and search-focused page improvements.
What is AEO?
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It means shaping content so it can be understood by AI answer tools, featured snippets, voice search, and question-based search experiences. FAQ content, service pages, structured answers, and clear topical coverage all help.
Can WebAct help with Google Business Profile?
Yes. WebAct can support Google Business Profile optimization, service categories, photos, business information, posts, review signals, and local visibility improvements that connect back to the website.
What are local listings?
Local listings are business profiles across directories, maps, and search platforms. Keeping name, address, phone, website, categories, and service details consistent can help customers and search engines trust the business information.
Does SEO guarantee more contacts or revenue?
No. SEO can improve visibility and traffic opportunities, but contacts and revenue depend on competition, search demand, budget, conversion rate, offer strength, reviews, pricing, and follow-up process.
Does WebAct provide reports?
WebAct can provide reporting for marketing campaigns, search visibility, ads, analytics, and ROI depending on the service package and account setup.
04
Digital Advertising
Which advertising channels does WebAct support?
WebAct's redesigned service structure includes Google Advertising, Local Services Advertising, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon Advertising, Social Media Advertising, and Television Advertising.
Do ads need landing pages?
Usually, yes. A focused landing page can make campaigns clearer by matching the ad message to the offer, service, location, or action. WebAct can connect advertising work with website design so clicks have a stronger destination.
Can WebAct manage Local Services Ads?
Yes. Local Services Ads can be a good fit for service businesses that want phone calls or booked leads from a local area. Setup, verification, budget, categories, and lead handling all matter.
How does television advertising fit with digital campaigns?
Connected TV and streaming ads can support awareness while search, social, and landing pages capture demand. WebAct can help position TV ads as part of a larger digital funnel instead of a standalone tactic.
How much should I spend on ads?
Budget depends on the market, competition, service value, location, and lead goals. WebAct can help shape a starting budget and adjust based on campaign data.
Can WebAct guarantee ad results?
WebAct can help improve traffic, targeting, landing pages, campaign setup, and reporting, but no ad campaign can guarantee specific revenue, rankings, contacts, or lead volume in every market.
What happens if I cancel advertising?
Advertising cancellation terms depend on the agreement and campaign type. Some services may require advance notice. Review your current proposal, agreement, or support communication for the exact terms.
05
Domains, Email, Widgets, and Add-ons
Can I register a domain with WebAct?
Yes. WebAct can help customers search for, register, transfer, renew, and manage domains, including DNS setup and launch support.
Why should I register a domain through WebAct?
Registering through WebAct keeps domain setup close to the website launch process. That makes it easier to connect DNS, email, SSL, redirects, and future support without sending customers through several unrelated vendors.
Can WebAct help with professional email?
Yes. WebAct can support branded professional email setup so the business can use addresses tied to its domain instead of a generic email account.
What are WebAct widgets?
Widgets are add-on features for Duda websites, such as reviews, calendars, sliders, accessibility tools, payment tools, Duda API template widgets, store finders, tables, tabs, social tools, and other interactive website enhancements.
Can I preview widgets before buying?
Yes. The widgets store includes preview buttons where demo links are available, plus payment buttons for one-time widget purchases.
Can I resell WebAct widgets?
No. Widgets are purchased for the account or project they are assigned to and should not be resold or transferred without WebAct's approval.
Can I modify a widget?
Some custom changes may be possible, but changes made outside the approved scope can affect support. If a widget is modified and breaks, additional paid support or a new proposal may be required.
Are widget purchases refundable?
Widget purchases are generally not refundable because the widget is added to the account and cannot always be removed or recovered like a physical product.
06
Support, Content, and Ownership
Does WebAct provide support after launch?
Yes. WebAct can help with website edits, support tickets, domains, email, widgets, marketing updates, and future improvements after launch.
Can WebAct move my old content over?
Yes. Content migration can include pages, blog posts, products, images, service content, portfolio items, and other website assets depending on scope.
Can WebAct write new content?
Yes. WebAct can help restructure and write content for service pages, industry pages, ads, FAQ sections, SEO pages, AEO answers, portfolio case studies, and landing pages.
Where can customers learn how to use the website?
The redesigned navigation includes website knowledge base, widget knowledge base, and how-to video sections so customers can find help after launch.
How do I ask a question that is not listed here?
Use the Contact Us page or request a proposal. WebAct can answer project-specific questions about websites, ads, domains, widgets, pricing, and support.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a subscription or account payment fails, services may be paused or deactivated after notices if the payment is not updated. Keeping billing current helps keep hosting, website access, and active services uninterrupted.
How do I request website changes?
You can request support or changes through WebAct's support and contact channels. Minor updates, major design changes, and additional pages may be priced differently depending on scope.
Does WebAct make guarantees about traffic or revenue?
No. WebAct can improve website quality, search readiness, marketing structure, and campaign setup, but it cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic volume, revenue, or business results from a website alone.
07
